Product Description

  • Fray Bentos was named after a town in Uruguay which was once considered "the kitchen of the world." Nowadays their famous tinned pies are produced in Scotland. This is a classic minced beef and onion pie, replete with meaty gravy and the iconic puff pastry top. Easy to cook and even easier to store, once you have removed the top of the tin (using a can-opener), you can simply put the pie in the oven, wait and eat. Uncomplicated and tasty, the hallmarks of a good pie.

Cooking Instructions

Oven cook
Instructions: 1 Open
Remove lid using a robust can opener, we highly recommend both the Brabantia Essential Line and OXO Good Grips openers. Place opened can on a baking tray...
2 Cook
Pop in the centre of a pre-heated oven (200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas mark 6). Bake for 30 minutes or until crust has risen and is golden brown.

Ensure product is piping hot before serving.
