The Flake was developed by chance in 1920 when a Cadbury employee noticed thin streams of excess chocolate would cool into wavy, flaky ripples. Delicately crumbly, the Flake is iconic In an ice cream and a luxurious chocolate treat. Also available in boxes of 48 bars and in packs of 144 unwrapped '99s.'
