Aah! Bisto. Where would British cuisine be without gravy? When it comes to pies, roasts, pork chops, sausage and mash… it's all gravy. Bisto have been making gravies and thickeners since 1908. Their traditional gravy granules are a great addition to many recipes and, because they contain no animal products, are also suitable for vegetarians. A 1.9kg pack produces around 25 litres of gravy. Also available in 170g cartons.

Potato Starch, Maltodextrin, Palm Oil, Salt, WHEAT Flour (with added Calcium, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Colour (E150c), Sugar, Flavourings (contain BARLEY), Flavour Enhancers (E621, E635), Emulsifier (E322) (contains SOYA).

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place and away from direct heat and sunlight.

Preparation and Usage

  • Just add boiling water and whisk. Add 75g of gravy granules to 1 litre of boiling water.
